Sunday's fashion notes

So I spend a fair bit of time this weekend dilly-dallying about on the internet and found some interesting stuff.

First of all, Amy Winehouse has decided to do a fashion line with Fred Perry. Here's a sketch from the collection. I'll wait and see the clothes before I pass any judgement, but I can't say I'm that excited. Amy Winehouse scares me. (Photo from wwd.com).

Second, I really love these adorable earmuffs from Josie Natori's Fall 2010 collection. I think I'll go scour some end of season sales for a pair of black earmuffs, then save them for next winter (Photo from wwd.com).

Lastly, here's today's outfit. I've had this skirt for probably 8 years and probably haven't worn it in about 4 as it's my 'formal black skirt.' But as I felt the need to shop my closet, I dressed it down with a super casual white tshirt and my leather jacket.

Shirt: Dawls
Jacket: Tex by Max Azria
Shirt: Rickies
Tights: Hue
Boots: Shelly's

PS: I saw green grass today. Spring is almost here!

Oooohhh LOVE the daily outfit.
I heard about the Amy Winehouse collection too. We however were quick to pass judgement and are guessing it'll be one hot mess.

Love Ya!

Hhmmm... I'm not really fond of Fred Perry or Amy's style. The sketch looks kinds sweet - I'll wait 'til the collection launches before I give my opinion!

the first sign of spring..you're looking great, too. Very unique drawing. I gotta wonder how it'll look in reality.

Its fun to think of ear-muffs as sexy. I think about my teacher with hers on a school..just not sexy.

I love your daily outfit, esp. those plaid tights! And dang it, I never thought of earmuffs as being chic either, but they look pretty swanky strutting down a runway. Kind of reminds me of Jay's collection from the first Project Runway (except I think his were headphones or something).

Thanks also for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely note! :)
I'm following P&P so I get your updates on my google reader now.
