The first dress is lovely! I like how the exposed zipper toughens up the floral a little bit. And the ruffled dress is lovely too! The colour is divine, and it's such a sophisticated look!
I totally get what you mean by supporting small businesses. Going to the mall is cheap and easy, but it's so much more fun to have something different. And when it's handmade - even better! (Course, I like to make my own things.) And that's why I like thrifting, you get the best of both worlds - cheap and unique (but it's not always easy to hunt through everything to find the gems! But the treasure hunt makes it fun!).
