If I were a fairy-tale princess, I'd hire Elie Saab as my royal dressmaker. He would make me beautiful dresses like in his spring couture and I would wear them to tea parties with my other princess friends and they would all be crazy jealous. But I would let them borrow a few and we'd go play croquet.
that the dresses in Elie Saab's spring 2010 couture are gorgeous. (Photos from style.com)

You all probably know by now that I'm a huge fan of what John Galliano does at Christian Dior and that couture is my favourite (usually because there's hats!). So I was definately excited to check out the photos of the show (not quite big-time enough to merit an invite, but oh well, that's what style.com is for). As usually, I thought it was great, especially the begining where the models looked like dressage riders. I love the fitted jackets and they made me consider wearing my hunt coat for everyday, if only it wasn't one of the most expensive items I own. Although I got a couple new ones for Christmas, so maybe I can start wearing my old o
ne. Anyways, I loved the jackets and the gorgeous volumunous gowns. So beautiful! And I love how John Galliano looks ready to take a dressage test at the end. All he needed was a horse! (Photos from style.com)
PS: Was I the only one a little freaked out by the eyebrows?

I've never been to anthropologie before, but I can say I'm truly in love with their beautiful printed dresses. I'm always worried about buying online as I tend to have fit issues and besides, I enjoy touching the fabric etc. before a purchase. The good news is, there is a location I was unaware of about three hours drive away, so Im now planning a roadtrip! Here are the dresses I love! (photos from anthropologie.com)

This is one of those times I wish I lived in America. Why don't we have Target in Canada? We have Walmart and Bed, Bath and Beyond, but no Target. Which means not arget/designer collaborations for me. But, I can look. I love Zac Posen and there are so many cute things in his collaboration with Target. Especially the tuxedo dress. Love! I'm a huge Lanvin fan and the Pre-Fall 2010 collection did not disappoint. The clothes are classy and pretty and really should make a trip to my wardrobe! Plus I love how the models are posing rather than just standing staring at the camera like lots of pre-fall collection. If it's not a runway, it should still be interesting and these look like they could be adverts in a magazine. (Photos from style.com)
