Red Coats

Lately I've been getting lots of compliments on my red winter coat, so I just wanted to say thanks to everyone! I like how the coat cheers me up on icky winter days and I love getting sweet comments! But now, being a bit of a greedy-boots, I want this amazing red coat from Sonia Rykiel's Pre-Fall 2010 collection. It's so amazing! If I had a larger clothing budget...

I'd wear Valli! Not just to fabulous parties, but also for lazing around my mansion (assuming I also had a larger home budget). These pieces from Pre-fall 2010 are so pretty and look very expensive (which I'm sure they are). But, you know, in my dream world... (Photos from style.com)

Lovin' Lanvin

I'm a huge Lanvin fan and the Pre-Fall 2010 collection did not disappoint. The clothes are classy and pretty and really should make a trip to my wardrobe! Plus I love how the models are posing rather than just standing staring at the camera like lots of pre-fall collection. If it's not a runway, it should still be interesting and these look like they could be adverts in a magazine. (Photos from style.com)

Pretty Prints

I'm a huge fan of colours and especially prints. That's why I was really pleased with Diane Von Furstenburg's pre-fall 2010 collection. The styles are cute and I'm totally in love with the prints. My favourite is the black and grey dress that looks a little like paint splatters. As much as I love colours, I've always been a huge fan of grey. What do you think? (photos from style.com)

I love pretty

From time to time I'm reminded just how much i love things that are "pretty". Not particularly though-provoking or new or avante-garde, but something that you can't help but smile looking at. That's how I felt about the Oscar de la Renta pre-fall 2010 collection. It might not be anything overly new, but it's beautiful and I love it. I was already a pretty big de la Renta fan, but this collection made be love it more. What are your thoughts? Doesn't the second dress remind you of Beauty and the Beast? Oh, and I went a little overboard on the photos for this post (photos fro style.com).

Is it too early to start thinking about next fall...

That's right, I've been checking out the Pre-Fall 2010 collections. I'm not entirely sure where pre-fall fits into most people's wardrobes. Maybe it's what you wear in August when you are a little sick of summer clothes, but it's too hot to wear fall clothes yet? I'm not sure, but I do know that I totally love the Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2010 collection. There are so many gorgeous coats and jackets! There are a lot of neutral colours that will go with most of what's already in your closet. Basically, I'm in love. (Photos from style.com)
