New Camera!

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but our internet has been acting dumb lately and today is the first day in a while that it has been working well enough for me to upload pictures.

I've been interested in photography for a long time and final decided to take the plunge and buy an SLR. I went with the Nikon D3100 and so far I really like it. Trial Run

It's been a couple months since I said goodbye and now I'm coming crawling (tentatively) back. Anyway, here is an outfit post and lots of love! In one photo I look like I'm a 5 year old pretending to be an airplane and twisting my ankle and the same time. I wanted to share that!

Patina Design Works

On the weekend I attended a very cool vintage event called a Dress to Remember. At this event, there was a vintage and upcycled jewellery designer called Patina Design Works. Well, I absolutely fell in love with these cameo flower earrings and knew they had to come home with me. They are set into antique brass frames. What do you think?

New Favourite Beauty Look

I'm completely in love with this beauty shot from the Jean Paul Gaultier spring couture show. The red lip, the winged eyeliner, everything. Even the hair. If my makeup could magically look like this everyday, that would be perfect!

I got a couple new things. A sweater and some sandals when I exchanged a Christmas present (apparently you're supposed to do that right away because the sale associate had to call her manage to let me exchange it. I thought you had until the end of January) and a new skirt. I only ended up spending $30. I think that's pretty good!
